Rich compelling melodies and tight driving rhythm, Flatworld play an eclectic mix of music from Eastern Europe and beyond.
We take tunes from eastern European folk traditions (and a few from elsewhere) and present them in a lively and accessible form; audiences are usually dancing by the end of our show.
The line-up is:
Eric Aston — djembe, percussion
Tim Cranmore — saxophone, recorder
Vo Fletcher — bass
Neil Poulter — guitar, laúd, mandolin, vocal
Kimberly Turnbull — violin
Shifra Tantz — Flatworld at the Floating Lotus Party, Oct 07
Music Samples
Live concert recordings from Colwall Village Hall, 25 April 2008 and Ludlow Festival Fringe, 6 July 2008:
